This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of ViewPort Studio (“ViewPort Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our website, Studio, Developer API, browser extension, sharing and reporting features, AI Launch Audit, support, and related services. Our Terms of Service also apply.

When you ask ViewPort Studio to capture or audit a URL, the requested page and its visible contents may be transmitted to screenshot, hosting, storage, and AI-processing providers as necessary to perform the requested feature. Screenshots can contain information visible on the submitted page. Do not submit pages containing confidential, regulated, highly sensitive, or third-party personal information unless you are authorized to process that information and have determined the Service is appropriate for it.

We use information to provide previews, screenshots, audits, reports, sharing, APIs, authentication, subscriptions, support, and account features; maintain the Service; enforce plan and API limits; prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents; diagnose errors; communicate about the Service; comply with law; and improve product reliability and functionality. Where required, marketing communications are sent subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

AI-assisted features may send screenshots and related instructions or context to AI service providers to generate requested analysis. AI outputs and associated audit records may be stored so you can view results and compare audit history. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete, and you should not submit sensitive information that is unnecessary for the requested analysis.

We may disclose information to vendors and subprocessors that provide infrastructure, hosting, authentication, storage, screenshot capture, AI processing, payments, email, analytics, security, and support services; to professional advisers; in a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition; when required by law or valid legal process; or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, users, or the Service. We may also disclose information at your direction, including through share links you create.

We do not sell personal information for money. Based on the Service functionality currently implemented, we do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If those practices change, this Policy and any legally required choices will be updated as required by applicable law.

Content available through a share or report link may be accessible to anyone who possesses that link. Recipients may copy or redistribute content. Avoid placing secrets or sensitive information in public/shared content, and delete shares you no longer want available.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including providing active accounts and share links, maintaining audit history, meeting contractual obligations, preventing fraud and abuse, resolving disputes, and satisfying legal, tax, accounting, or security requirements. Retention periods vary by record type. Deleting an account initiates deletion of account-associated data subject to legitimate backup, security, fraud-prevention, transaction, and legal-retention requirements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Service. No internet service, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and API keys and for using appropriate access controls on websites and content you submit.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection regarding personal information, and to appeal certain decisions. You may also have rights concerning sale, sharing, or targeted advertising where those practices apply. Use available account controls or contact Support to submit a request. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where permitted or required by law. Authorized-agent requests may require proof of authority.

You may opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe mechanism in the message when available. We may still send non-marketing messages necessary to administer your account, purchases, security, or requested services.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Paid subscriptions are intended for adults who can enter a binding contract. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact Support.

Service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or additional safeguards for cross-border processing, we will use measures required by that law.

ViewPort Studio can process or display third-party websites and relies on third-party providers. Their independent privacy practices are governed by their own policies. This Policy does not govern a third-party website merely because you preview, capture, or link to it through ViewPort Studio.

We may update this Policy as the Service, vendors, or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice for material changes when required by law.
